NUMBERS 16-17-18
Good Morning!
God’s swift, painful justice against Korah’s rebellion is stunning! God executes thousand’s of those who presume to know better than God; and who refuse to obey the leader that God has chosen.
The only thing I can think of to say is how can anyone beleive that they will not receive God’s justice if they rebel against him after reading these words? God’s justice in judgment will be swift and sure. If we don’t respond to God’s gracious gift of life, the only thing left is God’s justice for unrepentant sin.
God loves all people. He loves his people. He has provided a way for us to be saved. He has also promised condemnation for those who rebel against him. That is the whole point of the Good News.
Lord, forgive me for my sinful rebellion! Thank for your grace and forgiveness!
