LAMENTATIONS 3-4
Good Morning!
Lamentations may show the grieving heart for the demise of God’s people, but it also shows God’s mercy for those who love him and seek him.
Lam. 3:22-26 Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Even if many around us do not repent; and even if the righteous are swept away with the unrighteous – we must wait on the Lord and put all our hope in him. The message of Lamentations is that God has great love and his compassion does not fail.
So, no matter how long it takes, wait for the Lord. We will not be disappointed.
