Regrets

DAY 55
11-13-09
NUMBERS 26-27

Good Morning!

The end of Moses’ leadership is approaching. He is ordered by God to go on a mountain and view the Promise Land he will never enter. I can’t imagine how his heart must have ached as looked at the land he could have walked in, if only…

Do you have regrets? Are you currently paying the price of bad decisions; sins; and mistakes? Have you ever thought, “If only I would have said no.” “If only I would have been stronger.” “If only I would have listened.” “If only I could take it back.” If only.

If we judge ourselves by our regrets, we will live a very sad existence. Moses and the “Egypt generation” will pay the price for their sin, whining, and rebellion. Yet, as far as God is concerned, they must pay the price, but they are still loved and still blessed.

Whatever consequences you are living with now, if you are a faithful Christian, God might not take away those challenges, but he will give you a regret free life in Christ. If only you will trust him. Trust him!

Barry

Because your sorrow led you to repentance…you became sorrowful as God intended…Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
(2 Cor 7:9-11)
