Good Morning!

Now that the tabernacle is finished and dedicated, it is made holy to the Lord. All the tribal leaders bring gifts and sacrifices. This is a big deal. God’s abides in the tabernacle and Israel now has a physical representation of God’s presence. God will be with them where ever they go.

Two thoughts stand out to me. First, I love the description in v.89 about where God speaks from – from the cover of the ark; or, the “mercy seat.” This is just another one of God’s many lessons designed to communicate to his people that he loves them and will have mercy on them.

Secondly, I am so happy that the lessons of the tabernacle; its beauty; and its holiness are now attached to God’s new sanctuary, me! God will be with me wherever I go. His mercy and anointment still communicate to me every day, that I am loved, forgiven, and a part of his family.
